2018 Flintknapping In Belize

In March my wife and I travel to Ambergris Cay, Belize to escape the cold, gray, drizzly Seattle weather and spend some time with fellow flintknapper John Pearsen and his wife Sue. In addition to spending time sightseeing, snorkling and just enjoying the great weather, the four of us visited a ancient Mayan Temple Complex (Altun Ha) and well as the Museum of Belize in Belize City.
We had employed the service of Nicholai of Belize Exotic Adventures to show us around and let him know of our interest in flintknapping and the famous Belize "Coastal Plains Chert".
